“I needed a new plumber, and had spotted the sign for ‘Putney Plumbers Ltd’ on a shop front on the Upper Richmond Road. I went in and arranged a visit, from which a relationship has developed lasting now some twenty years. Tony and Elaine and their staff have over these years solved for me many problems. Our plumbing systems are a mixture of metals, including lead and copper, and of measurements, imperial and metric.
They have tackled all these challenges. Dealing with an enormous flood in our basement following the fitting of a new water meter by a utility company. This required marrying a new boiler system to a vintage pipework system. Being able to explain to the insurance company that the costs should be covered! In doing this the approach which first attracted me has remained the same. Sensible, constructive advice, following a detailed assessment of the problem; a clear understanding of the work required as a priority. A standard of service which provides that all their staff are well trained, courteous and get on with the job.
